I met my comc midwife Bronwen in April, I am so glad we got someone who was there for us during the whole pregnancy! We haven't had the best time at all in my previous pregnancies so having my COMC be there and actually have someone who cared and listened to what we wanted etc was brilliant!

Bronwen and the whole continuity of midwifery care service truly made my pregnancy a delight, I will forever be grateful for the love & care I recieved. I have and will continue to recommend everyone to get a COMC midwife.

Dear Kaysmum21,

Thank you so much for taking the time to feedback about your experience of birthing within the Continuity of Midwifery Care Team (CoMC). I will share your kind words with your named midwife Bronwen and the whole CoMC team.

Evidence to support the implementation of Continuity of Midwifery Carer highlights how women having care by a known midwife makes them feel valued and listened too. Women of report that they have a better experience when they have the opportunity to build trusting relationships with their named midwife enabling them to make individualised birth preferences for them and their family.

I am so glad that you had such a positive experience and once again I hope should you choose to use maternity services again that you opt to have care provided by the CoMC team. I wish you and your family all the best and thank you so much for taking the team to feedback, but most importantly that you will continue to advocate for this new service to others.
