About: Crosshouse Hospital / Gynaecology

I recently had to attend an appointment with Dr Panigrahy for a repeat of a vaginal scan and  possible hysteroscopy . This was a delayed appointment as I was previously unable to attend because of a conflicting hospital appointment. Firstly I felt reassured that I was going to be seen by somebody who would understand my fears after reading a positive review when I was checking whether the consultant was male or female. The very positive review I read was a good start to actually getting me there . 

Dr Panigrahy is indeed not only professional but so encouraging and understanding of fears and anxieties you may have. She listens. Her whole team were wonderful and got me through something I had been dreading for days. They genuinely care about any individual needs you have and it is evident they work as a team for the positive benefit of the patient. I cannot thank you all enough. 

I was also very touched to have Lyndsey stop and speak to me on the way out. You were all that I needed to get me through an appointment I was so anxious about as I am having to deal with a lot of different new health challenges which haven’t always gone to plan.

Definitely NHS angels who are not only professional but care about what they do.
