"The home baking was a particular favourite"

About: Wishaw & Shotts Integrated Day Service

(as a relative),

My mum used Stewarton integrated day services twice a week and I cannot praise them highly enough.

They picked her up, provided two course lunch and facilitated a range of activities in morning and afternoon to keep mind and body active and returned her home at the end of the day

The biggest advantage for mum was the company of others, she loved to talk.

I only wished we had known about it sooner, mum went two days but would have gone five if she could that’s how much she enjoyed it.

The staff are professional and friendly, encouraging with their clients and provide a fantastic service.

Mum also raved about the meals which I believe are all made in house, the home baking was a particular favourite.

Sadly mum passed away recently but I just wanted to highlight this wonderful facility.

Dear Forever 7

From all of us here at the Integrated Day Service our sincere condolences on the sad passing of your mum.

On behalf of all the staff thank you for your kind words. Your mum was a lady and was full of fun and always kept us going with her stories. Your mum made loads of friends here at the Integrated Day Service and told us daily how good she felt attending being able to get out of the house and meet people and also have fun and participated in all the activities even the exercises. Your mum often told us how much her mood had improved and thanked staff for their "creative" activities that kept everyone busy.

Your mum always complimented the catering staff on their meals and enjoyed the health promotion activities making her fruit kebabs and the "bake off"

Thank you once again for your kind words.

Linda Haverstock
