"Accident resulting in gaping wound in leg"

About: Fife Community Services / Community Treatment and Care (CTAC)

(as the patient),

I had an accident in Blackpool (tripped over wooden post in ground while on holiday) on the day before I returned home. Wound on leg was treated and sutured at walk in centre.

On returning home I attended Skeith Health Centre Anstruther for almost 7 weeks.

There my leg was treated by Pauline in the Community Nurses Hub who did a great job of getting my wound healed. I am very happy with treatment and have no complaints. Thanks again, Pauline.

My name is Sharon Serjeant, I am the team leader for CTAC in NE Fife.

Thankyou for mtaking time to provide such lovely positive feedback following your numerous visits to the treatment room at Skeith.

It was lovely to hear that Pauline did an excfellent job with your care and that the wound has now healed.

Feed back is so important to us as it provides reasurance and boosts staff morale. I will share this with Pauline and the rest of the team.

Thankyou again and best wishes
