"Feeling empowered to try new things"

About: Inclusion Thurrock (Talking Therapies)

(as a service user),

I was offered CBT as a treatment and wasn't sure what to expect. I found the sessions helpful to learn more about my condition and tools to help me.

I completed the sessions online which helped me to fit it around work. I started out looking for any improvement possible and ended feeling empowered to try new things and with a greater understanding of myself.

If you are unsure if it is for you I would encourage you to give it a try as I think there is something everyone could learn from sessions like this.

Dear xraydw75,

Thank you for taking the time to share about your experience with Inclusion Thurrock talking therapies.

It is nice to hear how your sessions not only have helped you to gain a better understanding of yourself and your condition but helped you to explore new possibilities in your life.

I am pleased to hear that the flexibility of the online sessions made it easier to fit therapy around your work schedule and even better that have helped you to find some positive changes along the way.

You should be immensely proud in the effort you have put into your personal growth and the progress you have made towards a better version of yourself with the guidance of your therapist.

I will certainly share your kind words with the team.

Wishing you all the best on your continued journey.

We hope that you feedback will encourage others facing similar difficulties to seek help.

Kind regards,

Ann
