"A vital source of support"

About: Community Services / North Lanarkshire Disability Forum

(as a carer),

Since September 2024, I have had the privilege of being involved in a group at my son’s school called The Little Care Hub. This initiative is designed to support carers of children with additional needs, such as Autism, by offering a space where we can connect, participate in Art Therapy, and share experiences while receiving mutual support.

Having relocated to Glasgow 14 years ago, I have often felt isolated in navigating the daily challenges of raising two children on the spectrum. The Little Care Hub has provided me with a valuable outlet, allowing me to engage with other parents and carers who truly understand my circumstances, and has been a vital source of support in my journey.

Thankyou so much for taking time out to give us your feedback.

I am delighted you have found the support offered through the Little Care Hub beneficial and by accessing support through the activities and meeting others who are in similar caring roles it has provided a valuable outlet for you.

Best wishes

Lorraine
