About: Southern Health & Social Care Trust / Breast Screening Service

(as a service user),

I had an appointment with a lovely Radiologist in the Breast screening clinic in Craigavon Area Hospital mid Jan, I think her name was Sandra. I was having images taken for my annual check up.

She immediately put me at ease and was very professional throughout. She gave short, concise instructions. It is not the most pleasant of x-rays to have done but she helped me move into positions that were more comfortable.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of our Breast service. As lead radiographer for the breast team within the southern health and social care trust it is so reassuring for me to read your very positive comments.

I will ensure this feedback is shared with all members of the breast team, particularly Sandra. It is wonderful for staff to receive such positive feedback.

All members of the breast team strive to deliver the highest standard of care, and it is very encouraging to hear this standard is being provided and has been positive for patients.
