About: District Nursing / District Nursing - Larne

(as a relative),

ANP Maria visited my grandmother in the final days of her life. This service was fantastic as she was able to prescribe needed supplies where we would have had to wait several days for GP to write prescription and send to chemist. Maria was professional, kind and caring. Thank you for all the help and care in what was a difficult time for my family.

Hello Sarah572, My name is Sadie Campbell, and I work in the Northern Health and Social Care Trust as Consultant District Nurse. I work alongside the district nursing teams and the District Nurse Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Thank you for taking the time to provide this positive feedback of your experience with Maria, our Advanced Nurse Practitioner when caring for your grandmother and I will pass on your feedback directly to her.

District Nursing Services pride themselves at being central to the delivery of person and family centered care for patients in their own homes. The focus is on the delivery of good compassionate care. Being able to access prescriptions timely to ensure good control of symptoms is also very important.

This Care Opinion feedback is a boost to all district nurses teams and their managers. Thank you.
