"Totally disappointed "

About: Loddon Vale Practice

Went into the surgery this morning with sever tonsils pain after a weekend of high fever and shivering. At 9.30 am I was seen by someone and was prescribed antibiotics for tonsillitis and was told to go to the pharmacy in one hour to pick up my prescription.

Went to the pharmacy at 11 am and was told the prescription hasn't arrived yet and to try later. Went again one hour later and was told the exact same thing.

Had to go back to the surgery, to be told that the prescription hasn't yet been released because needs to be signed by the doctor, and that I should call back after 3 pm to check where it is.

All this happening to a patient who is in sever pain, with high fever that can barely eat or drink. Not to mention that instead of resting has to spend one entire day running between the doctor and the pharmacy for medicine that should be immediately available for any NHS contributor.
