The A&E reception staff were really helpful. However, it was specifically the trauma staff who worked effectively and communicated openly with the patient and family. They carried out their various roles with kindness and empathy - doctors & nurses alike. Indeed the support staff - porter and catering were also caring in attitude and supportive in their roles.
The work is hard in a hospital these days, but we were afforded consideration, care and importantly communication.
