I had my second eye treated for cataract at Spa Medica at St Caths, Birkenhead, Wirral.

Just like the first time, the experience was so easy and trouble free.

From reception to discharge, all interactions were polite, friendly and informative.

The hospital was clean and tidy. My surgery happened at the exact time they told me. At every stage the procedures were explained to me in detail and were carried out exactly as described.

There was no pain, just slight discomfort during the 10 mins it took. Post surgery, I was quickly seen by a nurse who explained the post surgery actions required by me and provided the eye drops and confirmatory instructions. I was promptly discharged.

This is a shining example of our NHS working flawlessly.
