"Son with additional needs giving blood"

About: Angus Community Treatment and Care Centres (CTACS) / CTAC Hub - Arbroath Infirmary

(as a parent/guardian),

Had a brilliant experience today with my son with additional needs.

We have struggled in past to get his blood done out of his arm for his thyroid check.

I'm sure we will have no problems now giving it yearly. Staff were great with him.

Hello sigmaxe68

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide such lovely feedback on Care Opinion for Angus CTAC.

I am sorry to hear of your son’s past experiences, as we understand this can cause anxiety about attending important health checks. It is pleasing to hear yourself and your son felt your experience on this occasion was brilliant and the staff were great.

It is important to Angus CTAC to receive this positive feedback as it makes us feel valued and reassures us that we are achieving the high standard we aim for. I will pass this feedback onto the Team.

Thank you for sharing your story.

Elaine Fleming, Community Clinic Team Leader
