About: West Scotland Breast Screening Centre

(as a service user),

Attend today for my second  routine screening mammogram (first 4 years ago) at mobile unit at Morrisons car park in Paisley . Today's radiographer (Andrea) was so friendly, caring and at same time efficient - for patients attending for first time she would be a great person to have carrying out this slightly uncomfortable but important screening test. 

Receptionist was also polite and helpful.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post about your recent experience with our service. I am delighted that Andrea and the team looked after you so well and made the experience a positive one.

I will be very happy to pass on your very kind words to Andrea and the team and I know that they will be so grateful to hear that they did a good job and put you at ease.

I also want to thank you for raising some positive awareness about having a mammogram. It is so important to support other women, particularly those who have never attended or are attending for the first time and may be apprehensive about their appointment. Breast screening is a vital test to help to detect cancers earlier and I hope that women reading your post will feel less worried about attending.
