Before I came to the DC Unit I was apprehensive, but as soon as I arrived I was met with care and understanding. The first few days were a bit daunting but the staff were always on hand to help and allay any fear I felt. The structured days were exactly what I needed with a programme including regular meals, meditation, group work, introductions and talks with support services like AA, CA and NA combined with quizzes, games and relaxation time. The care and support I received during my stay has been amazing and made me feel safe and at home. I cannot find fault with any part of my stay.
