As a follow-up to my Cystoscopy appointment last week, today Friday the 17th of January, I attended the Folkestone hospital for an ultrasound scan.
I arrived at the hospital approximately 25 minutes before my appointment time and reported to reception and was shown where to wait.
I barely had the chance to sit down when a lovely young lady with a name that sounded like an item of currency invited me into the examination room and confirmed that she would be doing an ultrasound scan of my bladder and kidneys.
At this point I was invited to make myself comfortable on the couch and was asked to pull up my t-shirt to expose my tummy. She then applied the jelly and commenced to examine my full bladder. After this I visited the toilet and returned to the examination room for examination of a less full bladder and kidneys. Was quite interesting to watch this procedure on the screen.
With this procedure completed, I left the building approximately 10 minutes before my appointment time!
Thanks to the staff member I met today for her friendliness and professionalism. A credit to the service.
