"Doctor made this a much easier process"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Accident & Emergency

(as a relative),

My son had an injury to his head requiring to be glued. We attended The ED department in the children’s hospital at the Queen Elizabeth in Glasgow.

It was extremely busy and we were there a few hours but seen an exceptional consultant Dr foster  who spoke to my son on his level and was so good at explaining everything and gaining his trust . As a nurse myself I was very impressed.

His head was cleaned and glued and we left I was so apprehensive how my son would cope with this but Dr foster made this a much Easier process and a positive hospital experience for my son at a young age .

Dear Ashj87,

I was so sorry to hear your son had an injury. I hope he is recovering very well.

Thank you so much for your very thoughtful and welcoming feedback in respect of our Emergency Department and in particular, Dr Foster.

Dr Foster has been forwarded this feedback, along with the thanks of our Senior Management Team in recognition of the excellent care he provided to your son.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us, it is so gratefully appreciated.

I hope your son is now feeling much better and his injury is healing well.

Best wishes

Coral
