"My Bowel cancer care"

About: Causeway Hospital / Surgical 2 Causeway Hospital / Theatres

(as the patient),

Diagnosed with Bowel cancer. Met with Mr Patterson at Causeway hospital.,Coleraine. He explained all the findings of my scan to me and my wife Mary and all that would take place and what my surgery would be. Mr Patterson was so kind and so professional and I felt safe under his care. A gentleman.

After surgery I was back in surgical ward 2 and spent 12 days. The nursing staff in this ward were so caring patience and kind to me and all patients. They went the xtra mile at all times. And they were good at their job.I will always remember their kindness. On the day of my release I got plenty of hugs. I thank them so much how the nursed me back to good health.
