"The staff were excellent"

Was a patient in ward 52 VHK a couple of times in December 2024.

The staff were excellent in all aspects of the care they provided for me. In particular the nurses who cared for me did so with great compassion, professionalism and above all care:

During my first admission to ward 52  - I very quickly developed Sepsis.

Even in my confused state I was well aware of the expertise and professionalism of the staff

Particular mention must be given to the Charge Nurse, Brad  - he was absolutely excellent during this crisis - organized and in control  - directing and supporting staff . He was amazing. I can never thank him enough for his care and expertise that evening. 

When you're in a hospital bed watching the nurses go by , it does not seem as much is going on  - it's incidents like this that you see the value and worth of staff and are very grateful for their skills and abilities.
