(as the patient),

I want to say how very pleased I am with the care given to me, Ward 1,  I have nothing but praise for the staff right from the housekeeper upto the consultant and his registrar.  Everything was explained to me and even though in my opinion it was a major operation the staff showed such kindness and dedication.  Nurses Loveness, Jordan, Juby, Rettha were amazing.  My only gripe so to speak was that I could not say the same for the nurse that took over the morning shift, who did not seem to want to be there and had no bedside manner or empathy. But I would not want that to take away from the rest of the staff or the amazing care I received.

Thank you so much for sending this into Care Opinion – it is a huge morale boost – and I would like to apologise for the nurse who spoke to you in the morning and if you have a name I would really like you to share please so we can learn from this, as it’s not behaviour that we would want to be happening on the hub.

I hope you are recovering well and please take care but if you need to send me in the information I would be grateful

The team have had this shared with them and the named nurses will be very happy that they made your experience such a good one.
