"No women’s sanitary products anywhere in the…"

Came here with a young relative and spent the afternoon and evening having various tests. No complaints with the hospital staff at all. During our stay my relative needed sanitary products . There was nowhere to obtain them in the hospital !! Why ? We had to rely on the generosity of the nursing staff to give us some from their staff room and being very busy it took a while for this to happen.This added to the stress being experienced by my young relative - which was definitely not needed at this anxious time. I really do not understand the logic of not being able to buy these products - they are not an optional extra for Women !
