"Amazing care to all"

About: Lodge Surgery

I just wanted to say thank you - my daughter had her pre school booster jabs today and despite it not being a very nice thing to have done it was such a positive experience. The nurse talked to her about what it was for and what would happen, she had smiley face plasters and stickers and a bravery certificate and it was such a lovely way to make the whole thing better. My daughter was so brave and did so well but I think that a lot of that was down to the reassurance and time that was given to her. She came home and drew a picture of the nurse giving her the injection and it was such a positive response to the appointment.

We have had nothing but amazing experiences from all the staff at Lodge Surgery both with myself and with my daughters with nothing ever being too much trouble and always making the time to see them even if it's just for reassurance. So for today and for all the other times we'd like to say thank you as a family. I know it can be very easy for people to say when things aren't right but important for you to hear all the positive things so thank you.

Thank you to the Laws family for taking the time to write such a lovely review. We are glad that simply taking the time to provide reassurance (and a bravery certificate!) whilst having an injection resulted in a positive experience for your daughter.

Your comments have been shared with all the clinical team and our lead nurse has put the picture she drew proudly on her notice board.

Kind regards

Sue Vickers

Practice Manager
