"Trying to get an appointment"

I am a patient with epilepsy. 

I have been having increased seizures since August 2024. 

It has taken me until January 2025 to get a face to face appointment. 

I have been in contact with the epilepsy hotline number which was given to me by my GP. The epilepsy nurse who I spoke to over the phone has been very helpful and has managed to speed up my appointment but it has still taken me 6 months to get an appointment. 

At the appointment I waited a long time before being seen. 

This is not good enough.
