"Informative presentation at Cannock Chase bone school"

About: Cannock Chase Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

My husband and I went to a meeting in December at the bone school to listen and talk about having a hip replacement with members of the orthopaedic team.

The meeting was hosted primarily by Kirsty and Sian who went through in detail all about hip replacement surgery and the whole process from what you should take with you on admittance, to the operation and what to expect, to post surgery, pain management, taking your first steps and finally using your crutches properly when leaving to go home.

The whole experience was was well presented and extremely informative and would highly recommend for anyone having hip replacement surgery.
