"Unnecessary delay"

About: Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service

(as a service user),

Appointment time 12:30. When arrived only one admin staff at desk. Patient had issues which were taking time. Queue of 9 people. Second admin member appeared but rather than take up their position, they proceeded to go into the kitchen and boil the kettle to make a cup of coffee! People are giving up their time to come to donate blood and I feel that delays such as this are unacceptable!
