"Waiting time for operation"

Ten days ago I broke my Tibia and Fibula. To date I still await an operation. There has been no scheduled date for the operation and no communication whatsoever so ever in relation to this, other than the calls I have personally made to trauma liaison . I truly understand the demands on the service, however fail to understand why 10 days on I have absolutely no indication as to when I can expect this operation.
