"Big vote of thanks to staff at A&E"

About: Accident & Emergency / Injury Assessment Centre

(as a service user),

I had a painful injury to my wrist and was met bya very helpful reassuring staff nurse in triage and given prompt pain relief. Subsequently I was taken by Hannah HCA and assessed by Specialist Nurse Mark who advised an X-ray which was taken by Abbas in XRay.

Although the department was very busy I was treated very kindly and professionally and can say I'm truly proud of the service I received in Dundee today!

Keep up the great work-you make a difference and your ethos is inspiring!

Dear JayKay

Thank you for taking the time to post your very positive feedback about your recent visit to the Emergency Department at NW. At times like this when Emergency Departments across the country are under significant pressure, it is lovely to hear positive stories and it will be a real boost to staff moral. I will make sure your feedback reaches those members of staff involved in your care, and I hope that your wrist is making a good recovery.

Kind regards

Dr Kirsty Tonge- Emergency Medicine Consultant and Co-Clinical lead
