"Kind and caring at minor injury unit"

About: New Stobhill Hospital / Minor Injuries Unit

(as a service user),

Took 88 year old mother to minor injury unit tonight. All staff were truly amazing. Everyone was kind, reassuring and caring.

Shaun on reception put my mum at ease and was so helpful and kind.

Meghan the nurse who treated us put my mum who was extremely nervous at ease and was so reassuring taking her time to explain to her what was wrong.

Very thankful for treatment we received tonight. NHS at its best.

Dear CATA

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your lovely feedback. We’re delighted to hear that your experience at the Minor Injuries Unit was so positive and that our staff made such a difference to your mum’s care.

We’ll make sure to pass on your kind words to Shaun and Meghan who I'm sure will be pleased to know their kindness and reassurance helped ease your mum’s nerves during what can be a stressful time.

It’s stories like yours that remind us why we do what we do.

Wishing your mum all the best for her recovery, and thank you again for your heartfelt message it really means a lot to the staff.

Kind regards

Kevin
