My Gran was admitted just before Christmas to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow. She has been in ward 5c since her admission with a journey through the Emergency Department and ARU2.
The care that she has received in these areas has been nothing short of amazing, caring, and person centred. Despite this time of year being particularly challenging for the NHS staff, my gran has been cared for amazingly. The staff in ED, ARU2 and 5c have been exemplary. SCN Paton in ward 5c really leads her staff with such professionalism and the staff in the ward have delivered such a high standard of care which is person centred.
Thank you so much to all ED, ARU2 and importantly ward 5c as she has been in this ward for over two weeks. We are eternally thankful for all your care for Gran and the family over this time.
"Kind, caring and excellent care"
