About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Cardiology

(as the patient),

According to my care I was seen on the Monday. Incorrect, I never visited the hospital on this date, I did however, visit on the Tuesday. But I did not see anyone, I just returned a Heart Monitor at 9.30am. At around 3.30pm I received a phone call from a person asking if I still had the monitor. I had returned the monitor as instructed. It’s a pity the person who phoned me did not check the system that RD&E have put in place. I did check the following day that RD&E had found the monitor, which they had. If I have to return anything in the future I will insist on a signature as it is apparent the current system is not working properly.
