About: Royal Derby Hospital

We had a visit to the Royal Derby hospital on the 15/12/2024.

My 17 year old daughter was rushed there by ambulance after seizures, cardiac arrest and a stroke.

I can honestly say that if it hadn't been for the speed and care of the ambulance crew, the care she received in A n E, the stroke ward and ICU, things may have turned out very differently.

I want, to sincerely thank all 3 of the above departments and each and every single member of staff, who were involved in the care of our daughter, you were absolutely amazing and a true credit to this hospital.

We do not live locally, we are based in West Yorkshire and was on a Christmas trip when this happened, so I want to add another massive thankyou to everyone for the help and support that you also gave me, over the 9 days that I was in Derby whilst you cared for my daughter.

You guys are exceptional, I can't thank you enough.
