I was admitted to the Western Isles hospital for 6 days over Christmas. I'd only arrived in Lewis the day before! 

I'd like to say a huge thanks to all the staff in A&E, Radiology, and Medical 2 that I met who looked after me during this time. Every single one showed clinical excellence, care and compassion that aided in my recovery. Patients need fuel to get better and the catering team deserves huge credit for the choices on offer and the food provided. 

There are too many individuals to name - and I will probably forget some but everyone went out of their way to make a difficult time as good as it could be.
