"Mum’s Care"

About: Victoria Hospital / Respiratory Medicine

(as a relative),

My mum was in hospital quite poorly and had been in a couple of wards before Ward 51 at Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy. While she was able to, she spoke very highly of the care and compassion of the staff. The staff took great care of Mum and indeed us as a family when the end of life was getting closer.

My brother was at sea and was thankfully able to be there for mum at the end, and she passed away in the company of her wee family as per her wishes.

I cannot thank the staff enough for their care and compassion. Nothing was too much for any of the staff and it made a difficult time just a little bit easier knowing that mum thought the world of you all
