"All very patient focussed"

I am extremely pleased with the professional service I have received. My self referral was triaged, then I was contacted over the Xmas period by phone, given advice and a face to face appointment - all within a couple of weeks. I am delghted because had been in alot of pain. My podiatrist David was extremely experienced, competent, efficient and empathetic. To save me attending Dundee from Braco (south end of district), he immediately gave me a steroid injection which cuts out numerous visits. All very patient focussed.

The only aspect of attending Ninewells which was other than positive was the terrible parking. There were long tailbacks into the car park areas, which didn't move and sat stationary for 15 mins. Many patients were getting very stressed as were due to miss their appointments.

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback on our MSK service. I was delighted to hear that you had such a positive experience. We always strive to be person centred and your story highlights that we are getting this right. I will pass your kind comments onto David.

Unfortunately the car parking at Ninewells is an ongoing problem for staff and patients alike. I am aware that their has been a petition sent to all staff to urge NHS Tayside to improve parking at the site. Not an easy fix, but hopefully something can be done as it is not an acceptable situation currently.

I hope your injection therapy has been successful and your pain has been alleviated.
