"They were absolutely a credit to the profession"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Patient Transport Service

(as a service user),

My husband who had been in QE for 8 weeks was sent home and 8 weeks later he was to attend Golden Jubilee for CT scan of Lung and Liver. Today his appointment was at 1pm

The patient transport crew came 10/40 Paul and Amber 2 really lovely people well suited for the job.

They carefully negotiated 30 stairs in flat and 6 outside.

They were absolutely a credit to the profession.

Arrived at GJ booked him in long awaited necessary scan done by staff and same crew brought him back

So thank you again Paul And Amber let's only hope this scan is ok

Dear liz1bm,
Many thanks for taking the time to share your feedback here on CareOpinion. I am so sorry to read about your husband and I do hope that he is feeling better. It is great to hear positive stories about the work our wonderful staff provide.

If you wish I can pass on the feedback to the crews directly. To do so we would need to know the date, time and address that the Ambulance attended and the patient's name. This information can be sent to sas.feedback@nhs.scot for the team to pick up. If you do decide to do this, would you be so kind as to make reference to your CareOpinion username so that the team can easily locate your story and share it with the crew.

I wish you all the very best and thanks again.

Kind Regards

Marie,
Patient Experience Manager
