"Broken leg"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Emergency Medicine Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Fracture Clinic

(as a parent/guardian),

Our disabled daughter sustained a broken leg. She has been in plaster for 24 weeks requiring regular visits to fracture clinic and ED visits as well.

Every person we have come into contact with has been excellent. The departments have been busy and we have had some long waits but everyone has been very pleasant and helpful. We never felt like they were rushing us through.

The plaster room staff were great! They spoke to us every visit, even when they didn't have to do anything, but they were also very sensitive to my daughter's needs which was really good.

I was also impressed with the good humour and pleasant manner of ED receptionist on a busy evening.

I know ARI is under pressure, but we had no complaints about the care given to my daughter.

Lack of blue badge parking is my only complaint.
