"No Access in Snow"

About: Horne Street Surgery

We arrived, no parking space on the street so had to enter their parking where no effort had been made to clear a path through the snow. No effort has been made for access, non what so ever! They were completely aware of the snow situation and didn't bother to arrive a little earlier and address the situation. There's a tool center two units down with a display of snow shovels...

I'm making this review just to say, make an effort, put yourself out when necessary, you are a service to the public and maybe you should set your bar higher.

As I write this one patent is struggling to exit the car park and a patent sitting waiting is concerned they won't get out.

Good afternoon Mr Sayers,

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention regarding the difficulties you experienced accessing our car park due to the snow. Please accept our sincere apologies for inconvenience caused during your visit.

We strive to ensure that our premises are as safe and accessible as possible for all our patients. Unfortunately, on this occasion, the snow clearance was delayed, and we regret that this impacted your experience. We are reviewing our procedures with our landlord to ensure the car park is cleared more promptly during adverse weather conditions in the future.

I can confirm the landlord has sent the maintenance team and they have cleared the snow. They are also aware of this feedback as ultimately this would not have occurred if the clearing of the snow was undertaken early this morning before services began as it usually is.

Once again, we apologise for the difficulties you encountered and thank you for your understanding.

Kind regards

Lucy Mason

Practice Manager
