I want to thank the team for their help, consideration and efficiency when I had to contact NHS 24 recently. At all times I was treated seriously , sympathetically and with compassion.
In short an excellent experience. The 10 hour delay in getting the diagnosis and initial treatment was disappointing but totally understandable given the large volume of calls at this time of year.
My subsequent hospital treatment was equally as superb…..but with similar delays.
Final comment :- I believe if NHS Boards spent less on hospitality, promotional advertising and travelling etc as highlighted in a recent report we could perhaps afford to employ more Doctors to reduce these delays
