I have a friend who has drained me with their alcohol consumption and it has affected me for so long. Drunken calls, needing money, arguments, needing bailed out of trouble and it goes on. I felt flat and exhausted. I called PSL to see if they would speak with me about how I could get my friend help but, after the call I realised I needed help and they gave me that.
I never looked back, I was seen within 1 day, it was confidential and I didn't have to worry about what I was saying, what a revelation. I found out about how my friend could also get helped and I gave them the info after getting the courage built up to speak to my friend. They know they have a problem and in time when they are ready, they now know how to get help.
But, for me I continue getting the support from my key worker and feeling better in myself and more confident to deal with what's happening.
Thanks you psl you are wonderful people who help me.
