The antenatal, delivery, and postnatal care I received at RJMH was absolutely exceptional. My first child was born in England and my experience there was starkly different. The RJMH team treated my family as if we were their family. Every single member of the team was patient, professional, fastidious, and caring to a fault. I feel so privileged and grateful to have welcomed our daughter into the world under the care of these teams. Given the consistency of the standards that I encountered, I suspect that the ethos and management of RJMH is rock solid. I am so appreciative that these people are in these roles that they fill with grace, expertise, and dedication. Anaesthetists Drs Wilkinson and Gamble, the theatre team, the theatre recovery nursing team, and the Johnston House team including Jenny & Shereen (looked after me on night shifts - so kind), Paige (excellent), Marie (epitome of caring and so respectful), Catherine, and Angela who discussed the NIPE with such thoroughness and patience. I am truly sorry that I can’t recall everyone’s name, because every single person was excellent and really deserves to be acknowledged.
