"Supported my decisions every step of the way"

I’m so grateful for the support I received from Lynne, my health visitor. Even though my baby wasn’t gaining weight as expected, Lynne fully respected my decision to breastfeed without adding formula. She did everything she could to support me, including reaching out to the breastfeeding support team when I was having difficulties. When my baby’s eating habits changed, she ensured he was weighed regularly to monitor his progress.

Lynne also encouraged me to see a GP, which led to a diagnosis of Raynaud’s and medication that made a huge difference in my breastfeeding journey. Despite my baby gaining weight slowly, Lynne provided consistent reassurance that he was meeting milestones and was content between feeds, which helped me stay positive and committed to breastfeeding.

The easy option would have been to suggest formula supplementation, but Lynne supported my decisions every step of the way, making me feel empowered. Thank you, Lynne, for being such an incredible support during this journey!
