"Phone issues are going unresolved"

About: The Oval Practice

The telephone for the Oval Practice repeatedly rings and disconnects. We became aware of this issue in March 2024, and notified the practice manager. We were advised that the surgery is aware of the issue. We are now in 2025 and the issue still persists (as of 31st Dec 2024). I do not feel that 9 months is an acceptable amount of time to resolve such an issue. Your patients deserve better. This is currently being blamed on a technical issue, but I am beginning to suspect that staff are disconnecting calls.

Dear Patient

We are sorry that you feel that the staff are disconnecting the calls but I can assure you they are not. We understand your frustration at not being able to get through to the surgery. We are in current contact with the company that supply this system and they are working on sorting out the problem. If you would like to come to the surgery to discuss this we will be happy to explain the situation.
