"A high standard of care and professionalism"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Fracture Clinic Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Medical Imaging

(as a parent/guardian),

I accompanied my daughter to her appointment at fracture clinic RD&E, the care she received was exceptional and a credit to the professionalism in this very busy department.

The doctors and team we met were through in their roles and kind in explaining the examination and treatment. I'm sure the whole department has a strong ethos of care and would especially wish to mention the people we met: Mr Hughes, Dr Wogan , Lucy in radiology, Christian & Calvin. their empathy and care was highly appreciated. well done RD&E.

So reassuring to find such a high standard of care and professionalism, thank you.

I am responsible for monitoring overall service delivery, and the day to day running of both departments. I work closely with the Orthopaedic Consultants, Radiologists, Therapists, Trauma Nurse Practitioners, Orthopaedic Practitioners and Nursing staff to ensure cohesive care is delivered. I am very fortunate to have a dedicated team of staff, who work extremely hard to ensure patient safety is maintained, and that clinics run as smoothly as possible.
