"The amazing staff and care on bassett ward"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Maternity care

(as other),

My partner went though an incredibly traumatic labour and ended with an unwanted c section. Staff spend 5 days looking after her and our son and even sitting and comforting her for 2 hours when she really needed it. It was truly nice to see how much they cared.

Dear Raymendo77

Thank you for taking the time to write and tell us about your partner's experience within our maternity services.

We are sorry to read that your partner experienced an incredibly traumatic labour which resulted in her having a C section. We do hope she is now recovering well.

Our service is delighted to hear you felt the team were amazing and that they truly cared for your partner and son during they stay on Bassett ward.

We will ensure your kind comments are passed on to the team.

We wish you and your family well.
