"My daughters hospital stay"

My daughter had bronchiolitis and was admitted after seeing the GP due to low oxygen levels and increased breath rate.

Once admitted the staff were so caring and helpful, even when my daughter wouldn’t settle in the cot they arranged a bed so I could get some rest with her. They were informative and reassuring during the time we spent and I couldn’t of asked for a better experience at a worrying time.

Dear Happymum26

Happy New year!

Thank you so much for writing such lovely feedback about your stay with us. I hope your daughter is now much better and fully recovered.

I am very happy to hear you received all the care, reassurance and help you needed to make sure you and your daughter's stay was as comfortable and well informed as possible. All our colleagues work incredibly hard to provide the upmost care and support to our children, young people and families and I am glad you were provided such attentive care to make this worrisome time easier for you.

I will share your kind comments with everyone who looked after you and your daughter and I will also share with the wider Children's Unit. Your feedback will be very much appreciated by everyone, so thank you again!

Kindest regards

Dr Holly
