"Exceptional care and kindness"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Theatres / Recovery The Ulster Hospital / Ward 5A The Ulster Hospital / Ward 5C

(as a service user),

I was admitted to ward 5a for 2 nights and transferred to ward 5c for a further 5 nights where i underwent emergency surgery

The care I received was exceptional , every nurse that i came into contact with was so caring and kind. While I was in a corridor bed I heard so many examples of selfless service towards older patients with dementia and was so impressed with the kind hearted gentle nature in which they were being treated, the nurses in these wards are amongst the kindest most patient people I have ever come across and I am in awe of their ability to make so many people feel genuinely cared for

I am incredibly grateful for the wonderful treatment I received by all

Many many thanks

Thank you for taking the time to post your lovely comments and I am glad your experience was so positive.

I hope you are recovering well and will pass your kind words onto the teams who cared for you during your stay.
