After waiting over 45 to a scheduled telephone appointment to discuss my test results with doctor this morning. I rang the surgery only to be told by receptionist that doctor “ a little late” and all they can do is to get them to call me when they are free. No apology of any sort was offered. When I remarked that as a patient if I was 45 minutes late I would at least apologise and I wouldn’t be seen by the doctor. Your receptionist response was” that’s neither here nor there “
Now my appointment is over 1hr 10 minutes late and no one has rang me to offer any solutions or apologise .
As apparently calls are monitored perhaps the practice manager should actually listen to some of them and at least train their receptionist stuff not to be rude the patients and be a bit more civil and professional
