"We were always kept informed"

About: Gastroenterology / Ward 2 (Gastroenterology) Ninewells Hospital / Accident & Emergency Ninewells Hospital / Acute Medical Unit (AMU)

(as a relative),

One morning my dad was taken by ambulance into a&e into ninewells.  After a&e he was taken up to AMU where his health deteriorated and had to then have a couple of procedures and taken into high dependency unit.  He was then transferred to ward 2 where his care was exceptional.  During his stay in hospital all the staff showed great care for him and we were always kept informed of what was happening with him.

Dear Joannebx24

Thank-you for taking the time to post about your Dads care experience - aspects of which involved the Emergency department. I will share your feedback with the wider ED team which I'm sure will give them a real boost at this busy time.. I hope your Dad is continuing to recover.

kind regards
