This surgery has continually failed to treat me, or has mistreated me.
I submitted a formal complaint in July and they never even acknowledged it. I feel there was a total failure to deal with it as is required under the NHS Complaints Procedure.
I contacted them in August as I was very ill following an operation. A paramedic was sent out to see me who misdiagnosed me and gave me incorrect medication. I needed to be admitted to hospital urgently subsequently.
They seem to try to get me to see anyone other than a GP. On one occasion I was put in with a member of staff who misdiagnosed me and gave me antibiotics unnecessarily.
One of the GPs failed to advise me when my kidney function was very poor. Had I not chased this up I would never have known about it.
I have found that some of the reception staff can be extremely unpleasant and generally unhelpful. They tell me I can book appointments online but don't tell me this is only possible for 10 minutes in the early morning. In essence, it is very difficult to book appointments online. In the past some appointments that have been booked have disappeared off their system. One was booked at the reception and when I attended for this I was told it didn't exist. The reception staff refused to give me another one that day although it was needed urgently (plus I had waited for over a week for it). I have been there when others have experienced this too. The tendency seems to be to deny the appointment had been booked but when I had evidence it had they were no more helpful.
I have found the general standard to be abysmal and there seems to be no attempt to remedy this.
