I had to come back to Belfast City Hospital Endoscopy Unit to get a polyp removed. All went well, with very little discomfort.
Once again I must commend all staff I encountered for their patience and kindness. Two things stand out that I really must highlight. Every staff member introduced themselves by name which I found extremely reassuring. It made the experience more personal and, as I had been anxious beforehand, it calmed me.
Secondly, after the procedure, I received a three-page illustrated report on my procedure, with the full names of all the theatre staff and the doctor who treated me. He also visited me in recovery to reassure me and talk me through my future care. I also received a detailed leaflet on what to expect post-procedure.
The standard of care here is amazing ! Thank you all.
