"Waiting for Biopsy Results"

Due to receive my biopsy results yesterday, a few days before the Holidays via phone call at 2.45.

I received a call from booking appointments to let me know of a appointment for last week of December around 1.30pm same day, I explained that I am actually waiting on the Consultant ringing me today the staff said it must be a follow up.

No call came I waited until 3.45 as it said it can be one hour before or one after. I called the number and spoke to a lovely guy Robert who I asked to contact the Consultant via email as I am anxious enough without waiting another day.

He did do this but I waited in hope that I would still get the call, at 4.50 I called back again and Robert answered saying he has been informed that my Pathology results are not back I explained that it not good enough and I am very unhappy as it is a anxious time without no clear communication especially from the breast team.

I thanked him as I am aware he was admin staff and he should not have had to pass this information on without any further explanation. Anxious wait over the holiday period.
